Like most things in life, costing a skip is not simple. Factors such as skip size, location, space for the skip and need for permits all play a part. If you are unable to obtain a price by using our Online Quotation Form, please contact us direct.
We have a range of skip sizes for different uses. Click here to view our skip sizes. If you're still not sure, please feel free to contact us and we can advise you further.
Skips are designed for inert general waste only. Changes in legislation mean that the following items are not permitted:

Fridges/Freezers
Asbestos
Plasterboard (with an additional surcharge, this must be specified prior to skip hire)
Paints/Solvents
Fluorescent lights

This is not an exhaustive list - if you're not sure, please feel free to contact us.
You can put a skip anywhere on your own property, providing it does not block access. If you cannot put the skip on your own property it may be possible to arrange a permit to put the skip on the road. We're more than happy to arrange this for you at no extra cost (please note the permit itself will be an additional fee). We also offer a wait and load facility.

Please note that loaded skips can be very heavy, and can therefore cause damage to paved or tarmac driveways. If you need advice on how to combat this please contact us.
Depending on how busy we are we can usually get a skip to you the following day. Please contact us to arrange your skip hire delivery and we will do all we can to meet your waste management needs.
You can keep the skip for as long as it takes you to fill it. If you are keeping the skip for a prolonged period of time we will call you from time to time to see how your getting on with it.
The skip will be delivered on an LGV, so you need to be certain that where you put your skip is accessible. If you are unsure, please contact us.
Permits are required for skips that are placed on public land or the highway. We will advise you on whether you need a permit for your skip and in most cases we can arrange this for you.
OK Waste have a strong commitment to the environment and aim to recycle 85% + of your waste . Some websites claim to be able to recycle a higher percentage of waste than this, but we feel that achieving a realistic aim is more important than flashing big numbers and doing nothing in reality.
